Our Toy Story
When looking for a gift for my nephew's upcoming 2nd birthday, I had in my mind a construction toy that was not only fun to build, but fun to play with. Something that stimulated as many senses as safely possible- bright colors, soft-touch textures, and a satisfying "click" when manipulated. I found nothing that fit the bill. So I invented it.
Introducing Brikky Braks®! A toy not just for toddlers, but for anyone that can benefit from a toy designed to hone fine motor skills.
A Toy Your Child Will WANT To Play With
In designing this toy, I wanted to make it stimulating in as many ways as possible, and above all, FUN!. The pieces are brightly colored, and their soft-touch rubberized texture begs to be gripped. The unique joint pieces have just the right resistance with a super-satisfying "click". Watch the playtest in the videos below as a toddler quickly develops the coordination to fit the pieces and play with them.
Where We Are Now
Unfortunately, the kits are not yet in mass production, so the pieces need to be manufactured individually. We have a rotating circular piece, single axis rotating connector, two-axes rotating connector, static connector, half-circle, oblong, rectangle, square, triangle, dinosaur foot, face, hair, and spinnable color wheel.
